Why You Should Talk to a Counsellor After Breaking Up

A breakup can be hard to deal with emotionally, even if it’s long overdue and you were the one who initiated it.

Breaking up involves dealing with the emotional impact of losing someone you may have been dating for months or years, not to mention the logistical challenges of separating your lives and parting ways on good terms.

Finding a Safe Space

When you’re going through a relationship breakup, it can be hard to find someone with whom you can talk. Friends and family members might not understand your feelings, which makes talking about what happened difficult. That’s why seeking counselling after breaking up is so important.
